The film and television industry is undergoing a crisis that reflects much of the dysfunction we observe in wider society. As such, there are likely useful comparisons to draw between it and the world at large as we aim to create an understanding how to build system resilience in the face of emerging crisis.

The role of the industry as a shaper of our collective conscience also holds significance in and of itself; in a well-ordered state, the stories we share play an essential role in understanding and eventually changing our ways of being. This remains the most promising avenue for enacting the radical, foundational change needed to tide us all through all that is to come.
